Who I Am

About Me.jpg

Carmen Tabrielle Robinson, MD always thinks she's right. And she is, most of the time! Born to a highly opinionated family: parents Ted and Beverly Robinson of North Carolina, and brother Christopher Robinson, a Navy vet and surgical techβ€”she has had her fair share of scientific, theological, philosophical debates! But more than that, she was raised to believe in diligence and strong work ethic, knowing that God blesses our best efforts. Her tremendous testimony regarding her medical school experience and triumph over adversity has been inspiring for many young people.

She attended Pine Forge Academy, Oakwood (College) University, Winston-Salem State University (BS Molecular Biology), and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After completing her residency at Baylor College of Medicine, she became board certified in Family Medicine and currently practices in North Carolina. She is passionate about health maintenance and disease prevention and empowers her patients and community to be informed about positive health strategies. Combining her religious/spiritual beliefs with her medical training, her specific foci are whole-body wellness: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
